Living in the country was amazing. We spent a lot of our childhood either at the beach or on the water. Even now, I love spending time at the beach, swimming and building sand castles with our little man Flynn, or out on our boat, fishing.

I didn’t start off in the Plumbing industry, my career I chose out of high school was Early Childhood Education. In the Winter of 2012 I graduated with a Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, teaching in one of our local Childcare centres in our hometown of Waiuku.

In April 2013, my husband Nigel Knott opened his very own Plumbing business called Top Notch Plumbing (this is where we got the name Top Notch Bathrooms). In October 2014,  I resigned from my job and began working for our business full-time. In January 2017 the best thing happened we welcomed our first child Flynn. Fast forward to September 2017, we merged with Graham & Sue Booker and became Swift Fix Plumbing.

My passion for design came about when we were redecorating our 1950’s home. I enjoyed all the elements of researching, planning and organising everything, from paint colours to tapware, right down to the floors. A lot of people do not enjoy all the hassle of arranging tradesmen and shopping for all the right colours and fixtures. After merging together, it became clear I wanted to follow my design passion and planning expertise. It was even better that our business partner Graham was keen on bathrooms as well. Four months in, we hired our Builder and at last Top Notch Bathrooms was born!

A job well done to me is seeing one very happy client that is ecstatic with our workmanship and is singing our praises!
