Our First Bathroom

Being one our first bathrooms, when it came to meeting the clients we were both excited and nervous. Client relationships are such an integral part of Top Notch Bathrooms that we really wanted to ensure that was made clear.
We met the client on site ready to listen to her needs, see how her plans could be made possible and then go through how we were going to progress into making those ideas come to life.
After a sit down and a thorough chat we were able to distinguish what parts of the bathroom our client wanted changing, what parts she wanted to stay the same and what budget we were working with. It’s all so important for us to gather this information so we can provide the best service possible.

The client decided to replace the toilet, the vanity, the shower and revitalise the floors. So, our Builder started by ripping off the unwanted walls in preparation for the new pipes and the new shower. What an exciting way to start!
Once we were sure everything was ready and up-to-code we were ready to move on. we installed new Gib Board and started to work on the parts you really see. We brought in our Plasterer and our Painter to finish those new walls off right. Now we were starting to see the vison come to life!
Our client had spoken to us about the old wooden floors that they wanted to keep, but they weren’t sure how to make them work with their lifestyle.
We thought long and hard about how we could make it work in the bathroom both aesthetically and practically. No one wants to have to run after the kids’ every time they shower in case they’re ruining the floor! So, we brought in our floor sander to see how he could help and he knew straight away just how to fix the job. And boy did it look good!

The Plumbers returned to install the shower, the new toilet and the vanity.
We finished all of the touches off and ensured the client was happy with her new bathroom.
With a skip in our stride we left the client to enjoy!
